For Santanu Nandan Dinda and Sunita Dinda, art is deeply connected to their Indian roots. Having completed their Diploma in Fine Arts, they consciously developed an artistic language that combines contemporary expression with the spirit and character of Indian art. Their work is inspired by India's colours, people, landscapes, traditions, and, particularly, the simplicity and vitality of its rural life.

For the Dindas, painting is a spontaneous and joyful celebration of life. Their journeys across different parts of India have allowed them to observe and experience the country's diverse cultural and rustic traditions firsthand. These experiences find their way onto the canvas through simple yet expressive subjects that capture the warmth, rhythm, and character of everyday life.

Their paintings are marked by an expressionist sensibility, expressed through vibrant colours, energetic brushwork, and bold, confident lines.
